How can you assist me to feeling better?
At Sunshine Holistic Health, I listen to you and respect your body's internal wisdom so we can get to the root cause of dis-ease, low energy, and imbalance. There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to wellness. Based on the initial in-depth intake, I personalize a treatment plan that restores your body to its happiest and most interconnected state.
When proper balance is restored, you’ll find you have the necessary energy to power through the day, whether you’re hoping to shatter your personal record at the gym or you’re trying to keep up with an ultra-curious toddler. Each one of us, regardless of age, profession, or marital status, wears many hats. That means there’s no time for fatigue, headaches, stomach issues, or other ailments.
Naturopathic medicine excels at not only preventing dis-ease but also taking a practical and proactive path to wellness. I believe that your body is more capable of healing than you may even be aware of. However, you may need the right guidance and solutions in order to stimulate your own healing processes. I also feel that symptoms aren’t out to get you, but rather are important indicators of imbalance and the need for change.
What solutions do you offer for fatigue and insomnia?
Fatigue: As part of the holistic counseling, I take a holistic assessment of your health to assess imbalances in your whole being. Based on the in-depth assessment and lab results during the first visit, I customize a treatment plan with specific herbs, dietary recommendations, and mind-body medicine for vibrant energy and enthusiasm in life.
Insomnia: I take a holistic assessment of your health to get started on addressing the root cause. Based on that, I craft a treatment plan that includes effective herbs, sleep hygiene, dietary recommendation, and lifestyle counseling to help you fall asleep and sleep through the night for a refreshing morning. Insomnia is a message from your body to trust in the process of life (Louise Hay).
Acne: Whole health assessment and blood work to determine the major imbalance and the cause of that imbalance to get started on a skin-clearing path. The treatment plan includes appropriate herbs, skincare regime recommendations, lifestyle counseling, and mind-body medicine to experiencing self-acceptance and confidence in who you are, as your skin starts to clear up from inside-out.
How fast or slow you get to your wellbeing can vary between 1 day and 5 years. Maybe you are one of the few people who experience life-changing healing within a few weeks. Most people take between two to five years on average to fully experience vibrancy and wellbeing with proper guidance. As a doctor, I assist you step-by-step to experiencing your wellbeing. The medicine you seek is within you.

How do you help lower my healthcare costs?
Directly from AANP's FAQs:
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct practice of medicine that emphasizes wellness and the self-healing process to treat each person holistically. Licensed naturopathic doctors are known for following a unique Therapeutic Order, an approach that identifies the natural order in which therapies should be applied to provide the greatest benefit with the least potential for harm. This approach leads to improved outcomes and lower health care costs.
Five ways naturopathic medicine lowers healthcare costs:
Address the root cause of illness
Offer less expensive diagnosis and treatment
Reduce the need for expensive surgical procedure, when appropriate
Decrease costs associated with adverse reactions to prescription drugs
Offer disease prevention
