How can you help me feel better?
At Sunshine Holistic Health, we listen to you and respect your body's internal wisdom so we can get to the root cause of disease, low energy, and imbalance. We know there isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to wellness. Based on the initial in-depth intake, we craft a personalized treatment plan that restores your body to its happiest and most interconnected state.
When proper balance is restored, you’ll find you have the necessary energy to power through the day, whether you’re hoping to shatter your personal record at the gym or you’re trying to keep up with an ultra-curious toddler. Each one of us, regardless of age, profession, or marital status, wears many hats. That means there’s no time for fatigue, headaches, stomach issues, or other ailments.
Naturopathic medicine excels at not only preventing dis-ease but also taking a practical and proactive path to wellness. We believe that your body is more capable of healing than you may even be aware of. However, you may need the right guidance and solutions in order to stimulate your own healing processes. We also feel that symptoms aren’t shameful or bad, but rather are important indicators of imbalance and the need for change.
What solutions do you offer for fatigue, insomnia and thyroid disease?
Fatigue: We take an in-depth assessment of your health, in addition to utilizing a micronutrient test (partially covered by insurance) and/or other lab tests for functional assessment of your body. Based on the in-depth assessment and lab results, we customize a treatment plan with specific herbs, nutrients, dietary recommendations, and lifestyle counseling so that you can have more than sufficient energy for daily activities.
Insomnia: We take an in-depth assessment of your health, and offer comprehensive salivary cortisol tests, basic lab tests and/or other specialized lab tests to check for imbalance in circadian rhythm. Based on the in-depth assessment and results, we craft a treatment plan that includes potent herbs, nutrients, sleep hygiene, dietary recommendation and lifestyle counseling to help you fall asleep and sleep through the night for a refreshing sleep.
Thyroid disease: We take an in-depth assessment of your health, and offer full thyroid panel (covered by insurance) to check for a specific imbalance in thyroid hormone regulation. Based on the in-depth assessment and lab results, we craft a treatment plan that includes specific herbs, nutrient supplements, and dietary recommendations to gently bring back balance to thyroid gland function so that you can experience more energy, weight loss, hair growth, and clarity.
What other conditions can you help me with?
Skin conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, GERD, depression, anxiety, ADHD and more.
How do you help lower my healthcare costs?
Directly from AANP's FAQs:
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct practice of medicine that emphasizes wellness and the self-healing process to treat each person holistically. Licensed naturopathic doctors are known for following a unique Therapeutic Order, an approach that identifies the natural order in which therapies should be applied to provide the greatest benefit with the least potential for harm. This approach leads to improved outcomes and lower health care costs.
Five ways naturopathic medicine lowers healthcare costs:
Address the root cause of illness
Offer less expensive diagnosis and treatment
Reduce the need for expensive surgical procedure, when appropriate
Decrease costs associated with adverse reactions to prescription drugs
Offer disease prevention
